Music Ministry
Here at St. John's we offer two worship experiences – Traditional and Contemporary. God speaks to many of us through songs and we have an amazing variety of music to keep you coming back for more!
During the Traditional Services, the Chancel Choir, directed by Lorraine Murphy, will uplift you with vocal and instrumental musical talents from within our congregation and invited guests. The music is chosen from the traditional Methodist Hymnal as well as carefully selected inspirational alternatives. The Contemporary Service Praise Band, Souled Out, is directed by Dave Springer and offers upbeat Christian music. Many songs will be familiar so you will be able to jump right in and sing along. If you don’t know the words, no problem. They will be available on several screens. On occasion our Youth Praise Band, Sonburn, directed by Dave Springer will amaze you with their gifted talents. This band is known to perform in various venues around the county. Chancel Choir

Souled Out
Praise Band that provides music for our Contemporary Service. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. For more information, please contact Dave Springer.
Sonburn
Our Youth Praise Band, Sonburn, provides music for our Contemporary Service on occasion and our primary worship music on Youth Sundays. For more information, please contact Dave Springer.
