I Want To Join St. John's

Believers in Christ are called to carry out their faith experience as members of Christ’s body, the church (1 Corinthians 12:27). The power of Christ to unite us in service and worship prepares us to be eternal members of His kingdom.

Church membership is an essential and important step for every believer. It should be prayerfully considered and entered into with a full understanding of the commitment required.

The path to membership at St. John’s involves:

Meeting with the pastor
A profession of faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior
Completion, before or after a new member is received, of the Basic Christian Discipleship Class (a seven session program)
A pledge before the congregation to bring your “prayers, presence, gifts and service”

Basic Christian Discipleship Course

Just like when someone becomes a member of a family through marriage or adoption, we want you to know that you are special to us, and we want you to belong.
