The list below is a description of ministries at Xciting St. John's followed by opportunities in those ministries for service.
Operations Team
We are a team of volunteers that bring people to Jesus by bring words and information to life:
Office volunteers - greet people, answer phones, mail outs and general office duties.
Pew Stuffers - clean and refill pew racks and prepare first time guest bags.
Newsletter team - prepare monthly newsletter for mailings.
Jail Team
We are a group of men and women whom share the gospel with incarcerated men and women in our local county jail.
Visitation on Tuesday nights.
Write letter to inmates and Packet Development of resource literature.
Prayer Partners
Financial Support - Fundraising and donation acceptance
Mentors - establish ongoing relationships with inmates once released.
Publicity - Speak to church groups and communicate ministry needs.
Outreach Team
Caring Hearts - we are a team that provides hospital, nursing home and in-home visits.
Card Ministry - we are the ones that send birthday, anniversary, sympathy and get well wishes.
Singles
A group of singles who share Christian fellowship, meet new friends and go on new adventures.

Silver Eagles - A group of couples and singles that meet two Thursdays a month for a great time of fellowship.

Women
We are an open, diverse community of Christian women that challenges each other toward the full and equal responsibility and participation of all women in the church's life and dedicated to support each other.
Executive Team - planning all activities.
Small group leaders
Set-up, participate, and clean-up of special events.
Men
We are a Christ centered group that work and have fun together.
Join the Executive team to help plan special events.
Set-up, serve food, manage games and activities and clean up.
KIDZ4CHRIST
We are a group of individuals who help make Jesus' love real to children so they know Him as Lord and Savior by growing relationships with Jesus. Serve God in children's ministry from birth through the 5th grade.
Wednesday night - supervise activities, music leader, Craft Organizer, Director
Sunday morning - Teachers and helpers
VBS - Leaders for Bible stories, games, snacks and crafts, guides, art and music directors, director assistant director, administrative assistants
Get in the Zone with our XYZ Youth in sharing Christian love and fellowship.
Sunday School teachers
Monday night leaders and helpers
Scouts
Leaders, assistant leaders, helpers, and Church and Troop coordinators.
Facility and Campus Care
Opportunities include gardening, tree care, facilities maintenance, carpentry needs, lawn care, machine maintenance, and janitorial assistance.
Guest Services
Ushers - This team plays a vital role in providing a pleasant environment for our worship services. Ushers help set people, hand out bulletins, answer a multitude of questions, receive the offering and serve communion.
Greeters - A smiling face, a warm handshake and a friendly greeting make people feel welcome and provide quick information for first time guests.
Information Station - to direct and answer questions for first time guests.
Sunday Serving Team
Lights, Sight and Sound - This team includes opportunities for sound, lighting, PowerPoint/video operation and programming.
Drama Team - This team provides occasional drama and skits. Opportunities exist in acting, costuming, staging and make up.
Music Team - Our worship teams provides vocal and instrumental music opportunities.
Sounds of Joy Singers - choir provides music for our traditional services. Rehearsals on Wednesdays at 7 pm.
JoyBells - hand bell choir to provide music for our services. Rehearsals on Wednesday at 6 pm.
Souled Out - Praise band that provides music for our contemporary service. Rehearsals on Tuesday at 7 pm.
Fellowship
This ministry is a group of people that prepare meals, meet and greet people and provide information to our guests.
Kitchen and Food Prep Team - This team helps provide meals and refreshments for the various events.
Hospitality Team - This team helps create a warm, welcoming environment at various events through organizing, decorating, setting up and hosting.
